ATTENTION - Time to full charge ~ 4h | Autonomy ~ 24h (4h internal battery + 20h external battery)
The components used to charge an external battery are identified in the figure to the right.
the external battery
charging dock station
power supply
charging cable
Each external battery charger is capable of connecting with two additional chargers through its side magnetic connectors on either side, allowing up to three simultaneous charges from a single power source.
Step 1 - Connect USB to power source
Plug one end of the USB-C cable that came with the product into the power source and plug it into a power outlet
Step 2 - Connect USB cable to charging station
Connect the other end of the USB-C cable to the charger. When plugging in, make sure all LEDs light up (one red and five green). Only the red LED will remain lit.
Step 3 - Attach the battery to the charger
With the charger attached, attach the external battery to the top of the charger by pressing the side latches and attaching it to the charger.
Step 4 - Wait for the charge to happen
Charging verification occurs by watching the green LED lights flash. If this does not occur of if the LEDs remain lit, it is possible that the battery is overheated or improperly attached.
Each lit LED represents a percentage range of battery charge.
LED lights | % of charge |
---|---|
1 flashing LED | 0 ~ 19% charged |
1 LED on and 1 flashing LED | 20 ~ 39% charged |
2 LEDs on and 1 flashing LED | 40 ~ 59% charged |
3 LEDs on and 1 flashing LED | 60 ~ 79% charged |
4 LEDs on and 1 flashing LED | 80 ~ 99% charged |
5 LEDs on | 100 % charged |
Step 5 - Detach battery from charger
A full charge will require roughly three hours of charging and will be indicated when all green LEDs stop flashing and are light continuously. To uncouple the battery, press the side latches and remove it from the charger.
