6.2.2.2 Single Sized Headband Kit

Step 1 - measure you patient’s head circumference

Using a measuring tape, measure the largest circumference of the patient’s head at the most prominent part on the back (occipital) and just above the eyebrows (supraorbital ridges). The available headband options range from five to seven, depending on the headband set provided.

Step 2 - choose the correct head band

Based on the measured head circumference, select the appropriate band size as specified in the table below.

TIP - Most adults will need an M and L size while children typically use S or XS size headband.

Step 3 - slide the headband through the sensor latches

If the external battery is installed, remove it by pressing the side buttons and pulling it upwards, as shown in the figure.

Slide the selected headband strap through the sensor notches as depicted in the figure.

Step 4 - attach the turnbuckle to the headband

Complete the headband assembly by attaching the turnbuckle to both ends of the headband strap.
