Device activation

When a brain4care platform licensing agreement is signed in time, brain4care will send, via logistics operator, the devices that will be used for non-invasive intracranial pressure monitoring. When received, the account manager must activate them for that corporate account. A device activation button appears with the number of devices to activate.

Clicking on the Confirm device(s) (1) button an activation window will appear. Enter the device UID and click on the Confirm UIS button to have the portal verify that the received device is centrally registered.

Depending on the message received at the time of confirmation, the following actions should be taken.

Device confirmed successfully.

After clicking the Close button, the portal will return to the device panel with the activated sensor listed.

Device successfully verified, but other device(s) remain to be verified.

You have the option to confirm another by clicking the Confirm another UID button

You have the option to return to the device panel by clicking the Close button.

This window appears when:

Device does not exist
UID was entered incorrectly
UID is not registered in the corporate account
UID has already been activated

Check the UID on the device’s package and try again.
