ni-ICP Report Sharing

A user with an health professional access profile can share ni-ICP reports with other health professionals registered on the portal as well as people outside the portal through an anonymous link if required.

ATTENTION - If you want to share a report for a patient of yours, make sure that they have given their consent.

To access the sharing function click on the context menu on the right side of each monitoring session line item.

The context menu may contain three options:

View report (opens report in a new tab)
Share report (opens a pop-up window for report sharing)
View shares (only appears if at least one share has been made. Opens a popup window with sharing list).

By clicking on the option Share a sharing pop up window will appear

Sharing Options

You will have three options to share a report. The first two options are shares INSIDE the portal, and the last one is a share OUTSIDE of the portal.

INSIDE SHARE (FULL or ANONYMOUS): is when you decide to share your report with another portal user with a health profession profile. This sharing can be done with:
- Another healthcare professional (corporate account): This is when you decide to share your report with another doctor. In this situation, the healthcare professional will only be able to see your report when he/she is authenticated to their corporate account. Sharing can be of an anonymous or full report.
OUTSIDE SHARE (ANONYMOUS LINK): This type of sharing can be used to share an ANONYMOUS report with anyone. You must accept the out-of-portal sharing terms and conditions and forward the generated ANONYMOUS and SAFE link to anyone you want

To start the sharing process, choose the type of sharing you want to perform

Full Sharing (INSIDE THE PORTAL)

FULL SHARING

Non anonymous sharing option with another healthcare professional for for the same corporate account (organization).

CAUTION: Only share your FULL report if really necessary. You are responsible for the security of your patient’s medical information.

The sharing pop-up will have the following elements:

Search field to find other health professionals registered in the portal.
Authorize sharing button. The busson is active only after choosing the sharing option.

A) Enter the name of the health professional you want to share your report with.

As you enter the name, the portal will already show a list of health professionals belonging to your corporate account.

B) Choose a name from the options listed in previous step. You can choose more than one name.

Once chosen, click on the button to Authorize sharing button

ATTENTION - an anonymous link is active for 180 days.

Anonymous Sharing (INSIDE THE PORTAL)

ANONYMOUS SHARING

The anonymous sharing option allows for sharing with another healthcare professional from ANY organization that has a licensed B4C System.

The sharing pop-up window contains the following elements:

Field to search by health professional name registered in the portal.
Share authorization button. Only active after choosing the sharing option.

A) Enter the name of the health professional you want to share the report with.

As you type the name, the portal will show a list of healthcare professionals, from other organizations as well.

B) Choose the name from the list bellow the search box. You can choose more than one name.

Click on the Authorize sharing button

Anonymous Link Sharing (OUTSIDE PORTAL)

EXTERNAL SHARING LINK

Choose sharing type Shared link. The shown screen elements will be:

A checkbox to accept external sharing terms and conditions.
Generate link button that when clicked generates an anonymous share link. It is only active after accepting the terms and conditions.
Location where the external sharing link will appear.
Sharing link COPY button. After generating the link, copy it and use it in any browser

Listing All Shares

You can verify the share history for a monitoring session by clicking the context menu of the respective monitoring session on the right side of the report listing table.

The context menu can contain three options:

View report (opens report in a new tab)
Share report (opens a pop-up window for report sharing)
View shares (only appears if at least one share has been made. Opens a popup window with sharing list).

By clicking on the option View shares a window with existing shares for that report will appear.

	Shows with whom you shared the report with. It will show the first and last name of the registered user.
	Shows whether the sharing was with a healthcare professional or an individual user (friend, family member, etc.). When the value is Personal Account, it means that the sharing was with a portal user’s personal account. When the value is a hospital or clinic name, it means that the sharing was with a health professional from that organization.
	Shows what type of sharing was made. Full means that the person you shared the report with can see ALL information in the report. Anonymous means that the person you shared the report with will NOT be able to see the patient’s name nor the date and time of the monitoring session.
	Shows the share expiration period. By default, every share is valid for 6 months.
