Single Sized Headbands Kit

Two multi-sized headbands

Several individually sized headbands

Step 1 - measure the cranial circumference

With a measuring tape, measure the largest circumference of the patient's head, that is, the most prominent part at the back of the head (occipital) and just above the eyebrows (supraorbital ridges).

Step 2 - choose the correct headband

According to the measured head circumference, choose between adult or pediatric single headband according to table 6.2.1-1. If you cannot find the desired size, follow procedure 6.2.2, with the extra tape provided

Step 3 - slide the headband through the sensor latches

If the external battery is installed, remove it by pressing the side buttons pulling upwards as shown in Figure 6.2.1-2.

Figura 6.2.2-2 - Retirando a bateria externa

Slide the selected headband through the sensor notches as shown in Figure 6.2.1-3. Replace the external battery in the sensor by pressing the side latches and releasing them when the battery is positioned correctly.

Step 4 - place the turnbuckle on the headband

Close the headband by snaping the turnbuckle into one end of the strap, following the arrows in Figure 6.2.1-4

Passo 5 - Final size adjustment with the headband button

Check which button to position according to the measured circumference and sizes from table 6.2.1-2. Pull the end of the band, place the button at the appropriate size, and press onto the desired button until you hear a click (as shown in Figure 6.2.1-5).

TIP - Most adults will need an M and L size while children typically use S or XS size headband.

The final assembly of the headband should resemble the image in Figure 6.2.1-6.

Single Sized Headbands Kit

Step 1 - measure you patient’s head circumference

With a measuring tape, measure the largest circumference of your patient’s head, i.e., the most prominent part on the back of the head (occipital) and just above the eyebrows (supraorbital ridges). There are five to seven headband options available (depends on which headband set was sent).

Step 2 - choose the correct head band

According to the measured head circumference, choose the band size defined in Table 6.2-1 Head Band Sizes.
