2.1 system description
The B4C System contains four major licensed components that come with the brain4care subscription. The following are part of the subscription: the sensor set that captures the intracranial pressure morphology (Sensor model BcSs-PICNIW-1000 with optional receiver model BcAc-DG-1000); the mobile App that serves as a communication bridge between sensor and portal and also serves a monitor for real-time visualization of ICP morphology, and the portal (Portal 1.0) along with the data analysis system.
The BcSs-PICNIW-1000 module monitors intracranial pressure non-invasively and transmits the information to the BcAcDG-1000 module and / or brain4care mobile application using wireless technology. The BcAc-DG-1000 is a receiver that connects to the invasive pressure inputs of multiparameter monitors and transcribes ICP morphology to the monitor. The brain4care app is a tablet and mobile app that connects to the BcSs-PICNIW-1000 to receive the information, send it to the cloud and generate the report.
