Device dashboard

The account manager has access to a panel that gives visibility to all mobile devices (cell phones and tablets) that have accessed the respective corporate account.

The panel lists all mobile devices in the form of cards with basic information, as well as filters that facilitate the search and a button to register and TRUST new devices.

Trust status (levels)

The top left ribbon shows the device's trust level that can be changed.

Trusted device (GREEN): allows for a simplified, offline login process via PIN or no PIN.

Normal device (GREY): neutral status, indicating that device uses a normal mode for login (username and password). This is the default status for any device that has logged into the account.

Blocked device (RED): with this status, users are prevented from logging into a corporate account using these devices.

Filters

There are filtering options that can help you find a specific device in the dashboard. You can do this by using one or more search and filter combinations.

Allows devices to be searched by trust level.

The second option is a “search by name”.

The search can be done based on the following device data:

  • QR code used when registering the device

  • Device ID

  • Device model

  • Device name

  • Device operating system version

  • APP version

  • Mac address

Choose one or more options and click Apply filters. To cancel a filter or search, click Clear Filters.

Navigation

When the list of mobile devices is greater than eight, the portal organizes this list into different pages. Use the arrows or page numbers to access the rest of the devices.

Manage device

By clicking on the mobile device card, you, as the account manager, will have access to information to manage each mobile device registered to your corporate account.

Device information

In the device information section, you can view a device:

  • name

  • model

  • operating system

  • brain4care app version

  • unique device ID in the corporate account

  • The last time the device accessed the corporate account

  • end date and time for TRUSTED status, if applicable.

  • number of synchronized end users, if applicable

  • the device trust level

  • short explanation regarding trust levels

Change of trust level

“Change trust level” button - the account manager can change the device's trust level or remove the device from this listing.

Remove device

Remove device” button - the account manager can also decide to remove a device from the organization. A confirmation window appears to confirm this action.

WARNING - Deleting a device is an irreversible action. Make sure the implications of this action are well understood and aligned with your organization. brain4care is not responsible for erroneous deletions.


Initial PIN policy for new users

ATTENTION - All PIN policy management is for a SINGLE registered and TRUSTED device.

In the “Initial PIN for new users” section it is possible to view and change the PIN policy, and how the initial PIN for newly synchronized users will be managed.

The initial PIN policy options are:

  • No PIN

  • User’s year of birth

  • User’s day and month of birth

  • Last 4 digits of user’s contact phone number

An account manager can also ask users to reset their PIN after the first login, making the initial PIN temporary.


Manage user PINs

In the “PIN redefinition” section, the account manager can reset a user’s PIN by clicking on any user that has been synchronized with the device and has accepted to be part of that corporate account.

Step1 - Click on the user’s icon, a PIN reset option window is displayed:

Step2 - Define the reset options for that user. They are:

  • Forego the need for a user PIN in that device for that user

  • Define a new PIN with the option to force a PIN change upon first login

For an non synchronized user, the following window will be displayed when clicking the username:
