7.1 BcSs-PICNIW-1000 and BcSs-PICNIW-2000 service life

Although the BcSs-PICNIW-1000 nor BcSs-PICNIW-2000 do not have a specified service life, it is recommended to change the battery every one and a half years, considering a daily and intense sensor usage.
Due to the sensitivity of the device, the equipment should be handled with care to avoid any impact with rigid objects.

Avoid contact of the sensor with knives, box cutters, or sharp materials to prevent tearing or damaging the silicone parts.

7.2 shelf life of accessories and parts

All devices in the B4C System do not have a specified service life. Due to the sensitivity of the devices, they should be handled with care to avoid any impact with rigid objects.

7.3 preventive or periodic maintenance

Periodic annual checks are recommended, which may include BcSs-PICNIW-1000 or BcSs-PICNIW-2000 internal verification and recalibration executed by brain4care support team. Such verification must be performed exclusively by brain4care authorized service. Refer to 9 technical support section for contact information.

7.4 equipment maintenance alert

If the hospital or responsible institution does not use the equipment properly through a satisfactory maintenance program, the result may be defective equipment and possible health risks.

ATTENTION - Always turn off the sensor when storing it

All components should be stored in the product casing and in a location with restricted personnel access, as well as a dust-free environment.

Storage period

If components are stored for an extended period of time, execute a visual inspection, testing and cleaning at least once every six months for proper maintenance.

PRECAUTION: When storing for a long period, charge the battery with 50% of charge and check periodically its level to avoid the complete discharge of the battery.
