A You as a patient, as is the owner of their your information, . You may decide to share their your full or anonymous reports with another portal user, another doctor of another health institution, or another person outside of the portal, through an anonymous link.

To access the sharing function, click on the context menu of the respective protocol on the right side of the report listing table.

The context menu can contain will have up to three options:

  • View report (opens report in a new tab)

  • Share report (opens a sharing popup)

  • View shares (only appears if at least one share has been made).

By clicking on the option Share a sharing window will appear

The two first options are shares INSIDE the portal, and the last one is shares a share OUTSIDE of the portal.

  • INSIDE SHARE (FULL or ANONYMOUS): This type of sharing is done with users that are registered within to the brain4care portal. This sharing can be done with:

    • Another person (personal account): This is when you decide to share your report with someone else as a friend, relative, etc. This other person registered on to the portal will be able to see your report when they access the application “My Reports”. Sharing can be anonymous or full.

    • A healthcare professional (corporate account): This is when you decide to share your report with another doctorhealth professional. In this situation, the healthcare professional will only be able to see your report when he/she is authenticated to their corporate account. Sharing can be anonymous or full.

  • OUTSIDE SHARE (ANONYMOUS LINK): This type of sharing can be used to share your ANONYMOUS report with anyone. Just accept the out-of-portal sharing terms and conditions and forward the generated ANONYMOUS and SAFE link to anyone you want.

FULL SHARING

NON ANONYMOUS sharing option with another user or healthcare professional.

CAUTION: Only share your FULL report if it is really necessary. You are responsible for the security of your medical information.

Search field

For this option, in this pop-up box you will see:

  1. A user search field where you can search by the name of the user or health professional within the portal.

A) Enter the name of the person you want to share your report with.

As you enter the name, the portal will already show a list of names that contain the characters you are typing.

When searching for a username to share your report you’ll notice that:

  • some usernames have an organization name

bellow
  • below them. These users are authorized health professionals from those organizations with which you are sharing your report with them as a medical professional.

  • some usernames do NOT have an organization name

  • below them. These are registered portal users with which you are sharing your report with them as a friend, family member, etc.

B) The chosen name of the options listed will be in the user search box. You can choose more than one name.

ANONYMOUS SHARING

Anonymous sharing option with another user or healthcare professional.

For this option, in this pop-up box you will see:

  1. Search field by the name of the user or health professional within the portal.

  2. Share authorization button. Only active after choosing the sharing option.

For this option, in the pop-up box you’ll see:

  1. Accept external sharing terms and conditions.

  2. Button to generate an anonymous share link. Only active after accepting the terms and conditions.

  3. Location where the external sharing link will appear.

  4. Button to COPY an anonymous share link. After generating the link, copy it and use it in any browser

Listing All Shares

To access the share history function, click on the context menu of the respective listed protocol on the right side of the reporting table.

By clicking on the option View shares a window with existing shares for that report will appear.

Shows whether the sharing was with a healthcare professional or an individual (friend, family member, etc.).

  • When the value is Personal Account, it means that the sharing was with an individual.

  • When the value is a hospital or clinic, it means that the sharing was with a health professional

Shows what type of sharing was made.

  • Full means that the person you shared the report with can see your full name as well as the date and time of the monitoring.

  • Anonymous means that the person you shared the report with will NOT be able to see your full name
