ATTENTION - The maximum operating temperature of the BcSs-PINICW-2000 sensor model is 35°C. Therefore, if it is stored in a location of up to 40°C, it is recommended to use the sensor in a place with a temperature within the operating range (0 to 35°C) and wait until the sensor cools down. If the operating environment is at 20°C, the sensor takes approximately 6 minutes to cool down and reach the operating temperature (35°C).

To turn on the sensor to initiate the pairing procedure by using the power switch, setting it to “I” position.

ATTENTION - If the switch is not in its final position, the internal pin protector may interfere with adequate pin movement, decreasing sensor sensitivity, or even causing misreadings.

Step 2 - start sensor pairing in mobile app

ATTENTION - automatic sensor-app pairing is a default system feature unless an organization has more than one active sensor. In this case automatic sensor pairing will happen only for the most recently used sensor.

Click on the (plus) connect button (1). The app will scan for any close by sensors that are ON.

Step 3 - confirm sensor pairing

A list of sensors will appear on your sensor pairing pop-up screen (1). The closest sensor will be selected automatically. Verify if the sensor UDI (Unique Device ID) on the sensor, opposite the power buttons, is the same that has been selected from the sensor list in the mobile app.

A visual confirmation for pairing will flash. The sensor and the sensor image in the mobile app will blink with the same color and frequency (2). If this pattern is the same between the mobile app screen and the sensor, the chosen sensor is the correct one. Click “Confirm” (3). If the pattern does not match or if you want to change the sensors, click the “Cancel” button (4). Once the chosen sensor is confirmed, the status LED on the sensor will flash green three times.
