An account manager can register a mobile device to an organization. This can be done from the mobile device dashboard by selecting a non registered device or by clicking the “Register device” button.

A window for selecting the trust level for the new device will be displayed:

  • trusted = device has been trusted and allows for logless use

  • normal = device follow normal login procedure with user and password

  • blocked = device cannot be used in that corporate account

Register TRUSTED device

If the “TRUSTED” trust level is chosen, a screen for defining the user authentication policy is presented, which determines how the initial user PIN for newly synchronized user with the APP is defined:

The first PIN policy options are:

  • No PIN - all authorized users are automatically logged to the device

  • Member's year of birth

  • Member's day and month of birth

  • Last 4 digits of member's contact phone number

The account manager can also ask users to reset their PIN after the first login, making the initial PIN temporary.

When selecting a PIN type, a list of ineligible users is displayed

The ineligible users is a list of users that do not have enough information in their user profile to define the PIN according to the selected policy.

Step2a - Generate QR code

The second stage to register a device is to generate a QR code to be read from the mobile device your want to register. Click on the “Generate QR code” button.

ATTENTION - to register a mobile device to B4C System you need to install the brain4care mobile app. These are available in Apple’s iOS App Store or Google’s Android Play Store.

TIP - after 90 seconds the option to generate a new QR code will be available.

Step2b - Read QR code

Open the brain4care mobile app to read the QR code. Please refer to the https://brain4care.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/B4CSENSORGUIDE29/pages/2920185948/13+trusted+device#Read-QR-code-to-register-device section in the B4C System - Sensor User Guide (v29) for more details.


Step3 - End

When reading the QR code is done on the mobile device, a registration summary screen is displayed on the B4C Portal confirming the registry.

Register NORMAL device
