An account manager can register a mobile device to an organization. This can be done from the mobile device dashboard by selecting a non registered device or by clicking the “Register device” button.

A window for selecting the trust level for the new device will be displayed:

  • trusted = device has been trusted and allows for logless use

  • normal = device follow normal login procedure with user and password

  • blocked = device cannot be used in that corporate account

PIN type setup

If the “TRUSTED” trust level is chosen, a screen for defining the user authentication policy is presented, which determines how the initial user PIN for newly synchronized user with the APP is defined.

The first PIN policy options are:

  • No PIN - all authorized users are automatically logged to the device

  • Member's year of birth

  • Member's day and month of birth

  • Last 4 digits of member's contact phone number

The account manager can also ask users to reset their PIN after the first login, making the initial PIN temporary.

When selecting a PIN type, a list of ineligible users is displayed

The ineligible users is a list of users that do not have enough information in their user profile to define the PIN according to the selected policy.

Part 2 - Generate QR code

The second stage to register a device is to generate a QR code to be read from the mobile device your want to register. Click on the “Generate QR code” button.
